History
Westminster P.S. was the first new elementary school built in this part of Thornhill 22 years ago. The population of the school at one point was well over 700, however we now have about 300 students.
Our school motto is "Westminster Public School -- Where Character Matters!"
Our school mascot is the Westminster Wildcat.
Facilities
Westminster P.S. was officially opened in 1983.
Although the school had many portables over its first 20 years, we now have no portables at all. We are housed on a large piece of property adjacent to Downham Green Park.
